Catholic Schools' Writing Day

Catholic Schools' Writing Day

On the 18th of April 2016, some amazing writers from year 5 were luckily chosen to go to Cardinal Newman!

We did lots of exciting activities that carried on throughout the day (well most of it anyway).  We were invited there along with other Catholic Schools in the area.  It was really good because the theme of the day was space!

There were 8 activities in which we only had time for three. We did the following activities; Helping a man from the future, writing a story about aliens and finally making a job application to be an astronaut.

It was cool to spend the day at Cardinal Newman because most of us will be going there for secondary school.  We went with Miss McCaffrey and Miss Horrigan and got to have chips for lunch!  Best day ever!
